Kashruth Standards: The Kashruth standards of the Vaad are determined solely by its Rav Hamachshir, Rabbi Moshe E. Bomzer of Albany's Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob (Orthodox). The Vaad maintains frequent communication with the leading recognized communal Kashruth Organizations. General Policy: The general policy and responsibilities of the Vaad are determined by a group of lay people from member synagogues. Supporting Synagogues: Beth Tephilah Synagogue, Congregation Agudat Achim, Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Beth Shalom, Congregation Ohav Shalom, Shomray Torah, Temple Beth-El, Temple Israel. |
